The NPAAMB "Stay-In-School" initiative is designed to assist students to successfully attain their secondary education and continue to meaningfully engage in their education journeys in pursuit of long-term career development and achievement.
ACADEMIC INCENTIVE PROGRAM - LEVELS OF ACHIEVEMENT:
1) Grade 9 (8X8)
Obtain all of your grade 9 credits on-time and you will receive $200.00
2) Grade 10 (16X16)
Obtain all of your grade 10 credits on-time and you will receive $300.00
3) Grade 11 (24X24)
Obtain all of your grade 11 credits on-time and you will receive $400.00
4) Grade 12 (30X30*)
Obtain all of your grade 12 credits on-time and you will receive $500.00
5) Grade 12 (32X32*)
Obtain all of your grade 12 credits on-time and you will receive $550.00
6) IEP Incentive**
Submit a letter of reference from your guidance counsellor to confirm meaningful on an IEP - receive $250.00
*Grade 12 incentive is based on the total number of credits (30 or 32) when you graduate. You can qualify for one or the other, not both.
** IEP incentive will be $250.00 towards a life experience (i.e. athletic registration, art lesson, music lesson, etc.)
Disclaimer: You must apply for the stay-in-school initiative bt September 30th each year. NBAAMP will not retroactively provide the incentive for previous grades once a new academic year has started. Limited number available, apply today!
