St. Paul school Mass with students, parish Priest and principal

St. Paul Catholic Elementary School celebrated a heartwarming school Mass led by Father Andrew Quarshie, marking a special occasion for the school community.

Father Andrew's presence was a highlight as students and staff met him for the first time since he became the Pastor at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in June. This Mass was also a nostalgic return to tradition, being the first in years since pre-COVID days.

The timing of the Mass during the second week of Advent and the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception added a profound layer of spiritual reflection.

The celebration extended beyond the school community, emphasizing the Home-School-Parish Connection with parents joining in. The Mass served as a platform to celebrate new beginnings and relationships, fostering a sense of community between the new school principal, Mr. Messina and Father Andrew Quarshie.

In a beautiful display of inclusivity, teachers and students from different grades collaborated, taking on various roles in the ceremony including readers, choir members and gift bearers. This collaborative effort highlighted the unity and camaraderie within the school.

Through these shared experiences, we strengthen not only the individual bonds within each school but also the collective spirit that unites us all, creating a tapestry of shared faith and purpose that resonates across all our schools.
