Spelling Bee Fun at St. Agnes Catholic Elementary School
Rotary in the junior division along with being a judge and committee member for the Hamilton chapter of the "Spelling Bee of Canada" gave Mrs. Savelli the idea to run a school spelling bee.
The winners from the class run-offs went on to compete in the finals held in the gym where all students went onto spell19 rounds of words. All the students were very prepared, did an amazing job while having a positive attitude!
The students would tell you that learning new words and having fun was the goal of this bee. Congratulations to the winner: Ini Adedara who took home the trophy. All the students are looking forward to next year's bee and the excitement has even spread into the intermediate division.
