
Looking to sharpen your math or literacy skills before school starts? The HWCDSB is offering free, in-person summer programs from July 7–July 18, 2025, designed to help students in Grades 10–12 build confidence and get a head start on the school year.
- Mastering Secondary Math (Grades 10, 11, 12)
- This two-week, non-credit program helps students:
- Review key math concepts from the previous year
- Preview upcoming curriculum to get ahead
- Strengthen problem-solving skills and math fluency
- Grade 12 students will focus on Advanced Functions

Level Up: Skills for Grade 10 OSSLT Success
This one-week program is ideal for students entering Grade 10 who want to prepare for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT)—a key graduation requirement.
Students will:
- Build key reading and writing strategies
- Practice with real-style OSSLT questions
- Complete a full mock OSSLT
- Receive personalized feedback to boost confidence and skills
